SOLD OUT! (Thanks for looking, though!)

The Vault is new era card guard that does three things! I wanted to design a card shield that protects all the corners of the box. Decks of cards are expensive these days, and I wanted something that protected every aspect (#1). I also wanted something that could be used to keep your Industrial Revelation in it's ready-to-go state if you threw it into your backpack. The Vault does that beautifully (#2)! Lastly, I wanted a guard that could display my box on a table if I was using the cards (#3)! This is what I came up with and I'm so happy to share it with you!

If you're interested, please click the above picture to watch a video explaining some finer points of The Vault; even though I made this video when the first brass version came out, everything still pertains to the new BLACK VAULT (the only one now available).

NEWS! The Vault  (now available in BLACK only) has been switched to aluminum, which makes it crazy light! How light? well, go pick up 27 playing cards...

That's exactly how much your new Vault will weigh. Basically, you suggested, and I listened. You wanted it lighter and in black, while still maintaining the same new design that people such as Daniel Madison called, "An elegant piece of art." So, without further ado, here it is...

Every Vault comes in a cool Turkish Carpet bag!

I can't describe how excited I am to finally see this project come to such a great conclusion. I've been carrying my cards around in my new Black Aluminum Vault all week and I couldn't be happier. I know you will be too! Thanks, as always, for supporting independent craftsman and artists like myself! If it wasn't for you guys, none of this stuff could ever get made!

Initial press release/ 2011:

Hiya Gang!

Well, it's finally here! After a few months I can finally offer my newest release~ The Vault.

I won't bore you with the entire process of what it took to make this project a reality, but if you're interested, you can take a look over here. It gives some insight into how it all came about.

So what is it? Well, if you don't mind, I'd love for you to watch the following video! It's a bit long (I'm so sorry, lol!) but I love design and can talk about it for hours (the video isn't hours, just seventeen minutes) Even if you only watch a few seconds, you can at least see what it looks like:

Okay, if you couldn't watch all of that, let me give you the quick lowdown! I love card guards and have used them for years. After going through a bunch of boxes because of Industrial Revelation, though, I realized that a better design existed out there to take care, not only of the cards, but the box. This is what I came up with:

I've taken these pictures without any type of Photoshop editing so that you can get a feel for exactly what you're getting. Sometimes, especially in magic, it's nice to see what you're actually buying! So this is it- it's a guard for your cards that will hopefully extend the life of your playing card box, look amazing, and engage people in conversation! The slits on the front add (I think) to the uniqueness of it, and also allow you to perform Industrial Revelation while it's inside (kind of like a big stage illusion that takes place inside a box). Here's the back:

Each one is made in solid Brass! Think of it like a Cups and Balls for your deck! The thumb channel also adds an awesome display element. If you're working Walkaround, or are performing near a table, you can use it to display your cards, the box, or hold a prediction! Fun!

It's also 100% adjustable! With a bit of tweaking, it's customizable to fit any deck! Adjust it to the tension that feel right for you!

I think that's about it! Each one will also be shipped inside a small bag that looks like a Turkish rug. Fun times.

As always, THANK YOU SO MUCH for taking the time to come over here and take a look. When you purchase something from me, you're actually supporting an artist- and I can't thank you enough. Have an awesome day!
